Reading Football beat Roger Bacon 21-13 to finish the season on a good note. Reading finishes the pre-season 3-0 ahead of the season opener next Friday. Reading scored the first 2 touchdowns on their first opening drive. First Touchdown was scored by Reading Senior Austin Fancher. The Second Touchdown was scored by Junior Landen Schafer. Schafer scored the touchdown after rushing from the one-yard line at third and goal, Roger bacon would ultimately score a run in before the end of the first half. Reading on their first drive of the 2nd half. Reading scored a touchdown off a short pass from Charlie Hess to Austin Fancher who cruised by defenders to get the score in to make it 21-7. By the 4th quarter, Roger Bacon would keep the game close by making it a one-score game by making it 21-13. In the end, Reading would close off the night with a 21-13 win. Reading begins the regular season next week as they host the Woodward Bulldogs!
