Reading Ground Game dominates as Reading Beats Woodward 47-0

The Reading Blue Devils dominate the Woodward Bulldogs as they won 47-0.

The Reading Ground game wasn't a match for the Wo0dward Bulldogs.

Senior Austin Fancher who wore #12 in honor of Andy Ramsey led the Blue Devils to victory. Junior Charlie Hess the first-year starting quarterback helped led the Blue Devils to victory as he threw 2 touchdown passes for the Blue Devils. Charlie threw the touchdowns to Senior Austin Fancher and Senior Ben Nash.

The defense was lights out for the Blue Devils as they shut out the Bulldogs and grabbed a last-second pick to close the first half. For the 3rd straight year, Reading starts 1-0.

Rushing touchdowns were scored by Blake Rasner, Austin Fancher, Landen Schaefer, and Brandon Barker. Reading looks to go 2-0 as they host Taft next Friday back at home at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
